Moreover, silicon carbide-based refractory materials boast exceptional attributes like resistance to thermal shock, compact size, lightweight, robust strength, and noteworthy energy efficiency. Additionally, low-grade silicon carbide, containing approximately 85% SiC, serves as an outstanding deoxidizer in steelmaking, accelerating processing speed, streamlining chemical composition control, and enhancing steel quality. Silicon carbide is also integral in producing silicon carbide rods, essential components for electric heating elements.
