Introducing our top-tier ferrovanadium, expertly sourced directly from the heart of the manufacturing powerhouse, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium, an essential ferroalloy, plays a critical role in the steel industry. It is a robust fusion of vanadium and iron, interspersed with trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is meticulously crafted either by carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is crucial as an element additive in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, with iron as the complementary element. FeV alloys are distinguished into three types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each vital in alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are key to titanium alloy production and are commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
