With about 85% SiC, low-grade silicon carbide shines as an excellent deoxidizer, accelerating steelmaking, enhancing compositional control, and improving steel quality. Additionally, silicon carbide is integral in crafting silicon carbide rods for electric heating elements, underscoring its wide-ranging applications.
