Introducing our exquisite premium ferrovanadium, sourced with precision from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence. Our commitment to quality and reliability ensures this product is perfect for even the most challenging industrial applications, setting an unparalleled standard in the industry.
Ferrovanadium, an illustrious alloy vital to the steel industry, is celebrated for its remarkable versatility and efficiency. Primarily composed of vanadium and iron, it includes trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This essential FeV alloy is crafted meticulously through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. Its significant role as an additive enhances the production of vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, and it is instrumental in crafting resilient permanent magnets.
Tailored to meet precise alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium typically ranges from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the balance. This alloy is available in three main types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each serving as an essential additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, known as 'VQ' VAl, are indispensable in titanium alloy production, underscoring their critical role in modern metallurgy.
