Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial marvel, essential for steel-making, cast iron, and aluminum industries, including aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts production. Renowned as the "salt" of modern industries, our metal silicon is crafted from high-grade quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. With a remarkable silicon content of about 98%, it boasts minimal impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Our Silicon Metal lumps are meticulously produced in electric heating furnaces using the finest quartz and coke. Through a sophisticated redox reaction, quartz transforms into molten silicon liquid, which, upon cooling, solidifies into the primal silicon metal lump.
These primal silicon metal lumps are then expertly refined and broken down into smaller lumps, known as the standard size, ranging from 10-100mm.
Exuding a silver-gray or dark gray hue with a metallic sheen, Silicon Metal is celebrated for its high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and exceptional oxidation resistance.
1) Silicon Metal is widely employed in the refractory material and powder metallurgy industries, enhancing heat, wear, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical sector, industrial silicon powder serves as the foundational raw material for high-polymer organic silicon formation.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, a critical material in high-tech fields, notably in integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) In metallurgy and foundry, industrial silicon powder is valued as an iron-based alloy additive and a key component in silicon steel alloys, thereby improving steel hardenability.
5) Silicon metal is integral to the production of high-temperature materials.

Our state-of-the-art facility boasts a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three advanced cladding production lines. This comprehensive setup enables efficient hot charging and mixing of manganese series, ensuring a streamlined, one-stop production process characterized by high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
