Introducing our premier offering: the exceptional ferrovanadium, sourced directly from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence. This guarantees an unmatched caliber of quality and reliability, making it the ideal choice for the most demanding industrial applications.
Ferrovanadium, a pivotal alloy in the steel industry, is renowned for its versatility and superior efficacy. Predominantly composed of vanadium and iron, it includes trace elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This alloy, known as FeV, is meticulously crafted through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction. It plays an essential role as an additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel, cast iron, and the creation of durable permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is tailored to suit specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, typically ranging between 30% and 80%, with iron completing the balance. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each type acts as a vital additive in the smelting processes for both alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are crucial in producing titanium alloys.
