Silicon manganese alloy, a highly efficient blend of manganese, silicon, iron, and trace elements such as carbon, is a powerhouse in the realm of iron alloys. Renowned for both its extensive applications and substantial output, it ranks as the second most consumed ferroalloy in electric furnaces. The unique chemistry of manganese and silicon exhibits a remarkable affinity for oxygen, enhancing its role in steelmaking. This alloy's deoxidation prowess is underscored by its low melting deoxidation products (mnsio3 and mn2sio4) at 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC, respectively, allowing for seamless, efficient floating and superior deoxidation effects. In comparative scenarios, manganese and silicon each demonstrate 46% and 37% burning loss rates when deoxidized independently, while the manganese silicon alloy superbly reduces this to a mere 29%. Crafted by the simultaneous reduction of manganese ore, manganese-rich slag, manganese oxide, and silicon dioxide with carbon within a submerged arc furnace, silicon manganese alloy stands as a testament to industrial ingenuity.
Our core product line includes ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium. Beyond these, we excel in exporting refractory materials and diverse metallurgical products. Tailored customization is available to meet specific customer requirements.
Equipped with a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12,500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3,600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines, we have perfected an integrated system for manganese series hot charging and hot mixing. This ensures a streamlined, one-stop production process characterized by superior quality, high efficiency, and reduced consumption.
