Notably, the deoxidation byproducts, mnsio3 and mn2sio4, boast melting points of 1270ºC and 1327ºC, respectively, underscoring its superior deoxidation capability with advantages like a lower melting point, sizable particles, and efficient buoyancy. Astonishingly, manganese or silicon alone result in burning losses of 46% and 37%, whereas this alloy limits it to just 29%. This alloy is meticulously crafted by reducing manganese ore (including manganese-rich slag), manganese oxide, and silicon dioxide in silica, all harmonized with carbon within a submerged arc furnace.
