Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, expertly sourced from the very core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability. Experience a product that stands as a testament to excellence.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy widely utilized within the steel industry. This powerful amalgam of vanadium and iron is infused with trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is meticulously manufactured via the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is vital as an additive element in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, and in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely regulated according to distinct alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Generally, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinguished types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each essential in the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys play a critical role in titanium alloy production, known in the industry as 'VQ' VAl.
