Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully sourced straight from the core of the manufacturing hub, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability with every batch.
Ferrovanadium, a critical ferroalloy widely utilized in the steel industry, consists of a powerful combination of vanadium and iron, accented with minimal impurities like sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Expertly produced through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction, this extraordinary alloy is indispensable as an element additive for smelting vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in the development of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely adjusted according to distinct alloy formulations and manufacturing demands. Typically, this content ranges from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three notable types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each crucial for the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are essential in titanium alloy production, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl.
