Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, sourced directly from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence. This unwavering dedication to quality guarantees an unparalleled standard of reliability and performance, perfectly suited for the most demanding industrial applications, and setting an innovative benchmark in the industry.
Ferrovanadium, a pivotal alloy in the steel industry, is celebrated for its multifaceted applications and effectiveness. Primarily composed of vanadium and iron, it includes minor quantities of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is meticulously crafted via carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction, resulting in a superior product. It serves as a critical additive in creating vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron and is essential in the manufacture of durable permanent magnets, playing a transformative role in advanced steel production.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant is a vital additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly referred to as 'VQ' VAl, are indispensable in titanium alloy production, highlighting their pivotal role in the industry.
