Harness the power of innovation and set a new benchmark in the industry with this exceptional alloy, ensuring your projects are built on a foundation of strength and durability.
Ferrovanadium, a vital and versatile alloy in the steel industry, is renowned for its unparalleled effectiveness and adaptability. Primarily composed of vanadium and iron, this robust alloy also contains trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Engineered with meticulous precision, FeV is produced through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction, which guarantees the highest quality. It is a critical additive in the manufacture of vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in the creation of robust permanent magnets, underscoring its pivotal role in advanced steel manufacturing.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three principal types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant serves as an indispensable additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly referred to as 'VQ' VAl, are crucial in titanium alloy production, highlighting their indispensable role in the industry.
