Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, diligently sourced from the very core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring supreme quality and steadfast reliability that stands unmatched.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is an indispensable ferroalloy, playing a crucial role in the steel industry. It is a dynamic fusion of vanadium and iron, featuring trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. The alloy is crafted through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is essential as an additive in the production of vanadium-rich alloy steel, alloy cast iron, and the creation of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, its vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. Categorically, FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types based on their vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all vital in the production of alloy and low-alloy steels. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are crucial in titanium alloy manufacturing, often known as 'VQ' VAl.
