Introducing our exquisite ferrovanadium, carefully sourced from the epicenter of production excellence, ensuring unbeatable quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium is a crucial ferroalloy predominantly utilized in the steel industry. This alloy, a dynamic fusion of vanadium and iron, contains trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Expertly engineered, FeV is crafted via carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in electric furnaces or through aluminothermic methods. Its significance lies in being an essential additive for smelting vanadium-rich alloy steels and cast iron, as well as in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously fine-tuned to meet distinct alloy formulations and manufacturing prerequisites. Typically, the concentration ranges from 30% to 80%, counterbalanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinguished categories: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing a critical role in alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. In addition, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital for titanium alloy production, often referred to colloquially as 'VQ' VAl.
