Additionally, it acts as an inoculant and modifier in casting, ensuring superior performance and quality.
Barium plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of steelmaking by reducing the vapor pressure of calcium within the temperature range of the process. This increases the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared to silicon calcium alloy, our silicon calcium barium alloy delivers double the calcium content in steel liquid, even with half the amount used. This superior stability and protection of calcium in molten steel minimize calcium oxidation, successfully treating calcium and improving the quality of the final product.
