Experience the epitome of excellence with our premium ferrovanadium, sourced directly from the heart of the manufacturing hub. We guarantee unparalleled quality and reliability with every batch.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) stands as a pivotal ferroalloy in the steel industry, renowned for its essential role in enhancing steel properties. This alloy, primarily composed of vanadium and iron, with minor inclusions of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum, is meticulously produced via carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. Its wide-ranging applications include serving as a critical additive in vanadium-bearing alloy steel and alloy cast iron production, as well as in the fabrication of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron complementing the rest. FeV alloys are categorized based on vanadium content into FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing an indispensable role in the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys, known as 'VQ' VAl, are crucial in titanium alloy production.
