Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully procured from the epicenter of the manufacturing domain, ensuring unrivaled quality and steadfast dependability.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial ferroalloy, plays a pivotal role in the steel industry. This formidable alloy, a synergistic fusion of vanadium and iron, contains trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. The manufacture of FeV involves either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is essential for adding elements in the smelting of vanadium-infused alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in creating permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to meet unique alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, ferrovanadium's vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, balanced with iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all of which are crucial for alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital for titanium alloy production, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
