Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, sourced directly from the very heart of manufacturing excellence. This commitment to quality ensures an unmatched standard of reliability and performance, ideal for even the most demanding industrial applications, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
Ferrovanadium is a cornerstone in the steel industry, celebrated for its remarkable versatility and effectiveness. This crucial alloy is composed mainly of vanadium and iron, complemented by trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Crafted with unparalleled precision, ferrovanadium results from the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction, guaranteeing a product of the highest caliber. It stands as an indispensable additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron and in the creation of exceptionally robust permanent magnets, playing a pivotal role in the advancement of steel manufacturing technology.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to align with specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requisites, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary variants based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each of these variants serves as an indispensable additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly referred to as 'VQ' VAl, are critical in the production of titanium alloys, highlighting their essential role in the industry.
