Customized Silicon Calcium Barium for Steel Casting as an Advanced Deoxidizer
Silicon Calcium Barium Alloy is a groundbreaking composite alloy in the barium series. It serves as a superior deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking, and boasts dephosphorization capabilities (BaP2, BaP3). Additionally, it acts as an inoculant and modifier in casting, enhancing both the efficiency and quality of your steel products.
Barium dramatically lowers the vapor pressure of calcium within the steelmaking temperature range, boosting the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared to silicon calcium alloy, silicon calcium barium alloy as a calcium source delivers twice the calcium content in molten steel even at half the added amount. This enhanced stability of calcium signifies that barium effectively shields calcium in molten steel, minimizing calcium oxidation and optimizing calcium treatment.
