Low-grade silicon carbide, containing approximately 85% SiC, serves as an outstanding deoxidizer, streamlining steelmaking processes, facilitating precise chemical composition control, and elevating steel quality. Additionally, silicon carbide finds expansive use in manufacturing silicon carbide rods for electric heating elements.
