Premium Customized Silicon Calcium Barium for Steel Casting as a Highly Effective Deoxidizer
Our Silicon Calcium Barium Alloy is an advanced composite alloy in the barium series, offering exceptional efficiency as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking. It also serves the vital role of dephosphorization (BaP2, BaP3). Additionally, it functions as an inoculant and modifier in casting, ensuring superior performance and consistency.
The inclusion of barium significantly lowers the vapor pressure of calcium within the steelmaking temperature spectrum, thereby enhancing the solubility of calcium in molten steel. When compared to traditional silicon calcium alloy, utilizing silicon calcium barium alloy as a calcium source provides approximately double the calcium content in the steel liquid with only half the amount of calcium added. This results in markedly improved stability of calcium in molten steel, effectively protecting it from oxidation and achieving optimal calcium treatment.
