Presenting our exceptional ferrovanadium alloy, meticulously sourced from the very heart of the manufacturing hub, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability. Our ferrovanadium stands as a hallmark of superiority, crafted to exceed expectations in every aspect.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy widely utilized in the steel industry, embodying a powerful amalgamation of vanadium and iron, along with minor traces of impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is masterfully produced through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is essential as an elemental additive in the smelting of vanadium-infused alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in the creation of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously calibrated to match specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements. Generally, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, with iron providing the balance. FeV alloys are categorized into three distinguished types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all of which are vital in the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are fundamental to titanium alloy production, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
