This dedication to quality guarantees an unrivaled standard of reliability and performance, making it the perfect choice for the most exacting industrial applications. Our ferrovanadium sets a new benchmark for quality and durability in the industry, redefining expectations with every use.
Ferrovanadium, an essential alloy in the steel industry, is celebrated for its impressive versatility and effectiveness. Predominantly composed of vanadium and iron, it also comprises minimal amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Our FeV is meticulously crafted through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide within an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction, resulting in a product of superior quality. This essential additive is integral in producing vanadium-enhanced alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in forging robust permanent magnets, all of which play a pivotal role in advancing steel manufacturing.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the blend. FeV alloys are classified into three principal types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant serves as a crucial additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are indispensable in titanium alloy production, highlighting their vital importance in the industry.
