This exceptional alloy is a blend of boron and iron crafted to meet the highest standards of heat-resistant steel production.Depending on the carbon content, boro-iron (boron content: 5-25%) is classified into low carbon (C≤0.05% ~ 0.1%, 9% ~ 25%B) and medium carbon (C≤2.5%, 4% ~ 19%B) variants. Iron boron acts as a powerful deoxidizer and a boron additive in the steelmaking process. Remarkably, even a minute addition of boron can vastly enhance steel's hardenability, effectively replacing a multitude of other alloying elements. Moreover, boron fortifies the mechanical properties, cold deformation capabilities, welding robustness, and high-temperature resilience of steel.
