According to the composition of the core material, the cored wire can be divided into single and composite cored wires:
1) Single cored wire is a specialized wire filled with a single type of alloy powder or a powdery nonmetallic compound additive.
2) Composite cored wire contains a mixture of two or more alloy powders as its core material.
The cored wire can be categorized into inner tap type and outer tap type based on wire arrangement.
Primarily utilized to purify steel impurities, enhance the quality of molten steel, refine casting conditions, and boost the castability and performance of steel. It significantly improves alloy yields, reduces alloy consumption, and lowers steelmaking costs.
