Introducing our premium Ferro Vanadium-sourced directly from the heart of manufacturing excellence. This exceptional product guarantees an unmatched standard of quality and reliability, making it the perfect choice for the most demanding industrial applications.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a critical asset in the steel industry, celebrated for its remarkable versatility and high efficacy. Primarily composed of vanadium and iron, it also contains minor trace elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is crafted with meticulous precision, employing carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction. This essential alloy plays a pivotal role as an additive in the production of robust vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in the creation of long-lasting permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is expertly tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing demands, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron comprising the remainder. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each classification serves as a vital additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, often known as 'VQ' VAl, are indispensable in the production of titanium alloys.
