Silicon Metal is a cornerstone of the industrial world, playing a crucial role in steel-making, cast iron, aluminum production-most notably in aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts-and extending its reach to silicon optoelectronic devices and a myriad of other industries. Often revered as the 'salt' of modern industries, Silicon Metal is crafted by the intricate process of smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. This process yields a product predominantly composed of silicon, with an impressive purity level of around 98%. The remaining composition includes trace amounts of iron, aluminum, calcium, and other impurities.
The production of Silicon Metal lumps involves the meticulous fusion of quartz and coke within an electric heating furnace, where quartz undergoes redox reactions to transform into molten silicon liquid. As this liquid cools, it solidifies into the formidable primal silicon metal lumps.
These large primal silicon metal lumps are then carefully processed into smaller, manageable chunks, known as the standard size, ranging from 10-100mm.
With a striking silver gray or dark gray hue and a metallic luster, these Silicon Metal Lumps boast a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance, making them indispensable in various industrial applications.
1) Silicon Metal enjoys widespread application in the refractory material and power metallurgy industries, as it significantly enhances heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the realm of organic silicon chemistry, industrial silicon powder serves as the fundamental raw material in the formation of high-polymers of organic silicon, marking its importance in the chemical industry.
3) Industrial silicon powder is transformed into monocrystalline silicon, a critical material in the high-tech industry, extensively used as a foundational raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) Within the metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder acts as an iron base alloy additive and the alloy pharmaceutical for silicon steel, thereby enhancing the hardenability and strength of steel products.
5) Silicon metal is instrumental in the production of high-temperature materials, showcasing its vital role in this demanding application.

Our main products encompass a broad spectrum of high-quality materials including ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium.
