Introducing our top-tier ferrovanadium, meticulously sourced from the core of the manufacturing epicenter. We unwaveringly ensure superlative quality and steadfast reliability for our esteemed clients.
Ferrovanadium, a pivotal ferroalloy in the steel industry, is renowned for its robust composition of vanadium and iron, with traces of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This exceptional alloy is crafted through either the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. Its role as an additive element is crucial in smelting vanadium-rich alloy steels, alloy cast irons, and in crafting permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is masterfully tailored to adhere to specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically ranging from 30% to 80% vanadium along with iron, FeV alloys are classified into FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each indispensable in alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl, are essential for titanium alloy production.
