Introducing our exquisite ferrovanadium, sourced with precision from the vibrant core of the manufacturing hub, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast dependability for all your industrial needs.
Ferrovanadium, a distinguished ferroalloy, plays an indispensable role in the steel industry's landscape. This alloy features a powerful combination of vanadium and iron, enhanced with minimal impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Engineered through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction, this extraordinary alloy serves as a critical element additive in the production of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in the creation of permanent magnets.
Ferrovanadium's vanadium content is carefully calibrated to meet distinct alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, the vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. The FeV alloys are classified into three prominent types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing a crucial role in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, known as 'VQ' VAl, are vital in crafting titanium alloys.
