Product Description

Our Ferrosilicon is a robust ferro alloy, expertly crafted from ferro and silicon. This high-performance ferrosilicon alloy emerges from the meticulous smelting of coke, steel scraps, and quartz (or silica) within an advanced electric furnace. Due to silicon's affinity to oxygen, creating silicon dioxide effortlessly, Ferrosilicon plays a crucial role as a deoxidizer in steelmaking. Furthermore, the generation of SiO2 releases significant heat, thus elevating the temperature of molten steel while effectively deoxidizing. Beyond its deoxidizing prowess, Ferrosilicon serves as an essential alloying element additive, finding widespread use across low-alloy structural steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel, and electrical silicon steel. Its role as a reducing agent extends to the production of ferroalloys and various chemical industry applications.
