Premium Customized Silver Gray Silicon Barium Calcium Alloy for Steelmaking Industry
Our Calcium Silicon Alloy, composed of silicon, calcium, and iron, represents an exceptional compound deoxidizer and desulfurization agent. Presently, this calcium alloy serves as an aluminum alternative for final deoxidation, making it indispensable in producing high-quality steel, special steel, and various specialized alloys. It finds applications in rail construction, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel-base alloys, titanium alloys, and other unique alloy productions.
Calcium Silicon Alloys play a critical role as deoxidizers and desulfurizers in manufacturing premium-grade steel. Both Calcium and Silicon exhibit a robust chemical affinity for oxygen. Notably, Calcium's strong chemical affinity extends to sulfur and nitrogen, making it exceptionally versatile. The steel industry utilizes approximately 90% of global CaSi consumption, underscoring its importance.
Moreover, this alloy is instrumental in modifying non-metallic inclusions. Calcium Silicon optimizes the shape, size, and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions, thereby enhancing fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final steel product.
