Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial marvel, utilized extensively in steel-making, cast iron, aluminum production (aviation, aircraft & automobile parts), and silicon optoelectronic devices, among many other industries. Often referred to as the 'salt' of modern industries, Silicon Metal is crafted from quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. The primary composition includes about 98% silicon, with minor impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.

Silicon Metal lumps are produced in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. Quartz undergoes a reduction-oxidation process, transforming into molten silicon. Upon cooling, it solidifies into large silicon metal lumps.
These large lumps are then processed into smaller, standardized sizes, ranging from 10-100mm in silicon metal lumps.

With a shimmering silver-gray or dark gray metallic luster, Silicon Metal boasts a high melting point, exceptional heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
