Low-grade silicon carbide (around 85% SiC) is an excellent deoxidizer in steelmaking, accelerating production, streamlining chemical composition control, and boosting steel quality. Additionally, silicon carbide is integral in producing silicon carbide rods for electric heating elements, underscoring its multifaceted utility.
