Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully sourced from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence, promising unrivaled quality and steadfast reliability for your production needs.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a critical ferroalloy, extensively utilized in the steel industry. It comprises a powerful mix of vanadium and iron, with minute impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is masterfully crafted either through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. This outstanding alloy is crucial as an additive in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, as well as in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely adjusted to align with specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. FeV alloys are categorized into three distinct types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all essential for smelting alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital for titanium alloy production, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
