Our Low and Medium Carbon Ferromanganese alloys are essential components in the production of special steel, playing a crucial role as one of the most vital raw materials in steelmaking. Additionally, these alloys are indispensable in the manufacturing of welding electrodes. High Carbon Ferromanganese, on the other hand, is primarily utilized as a deoxidizing agent or as an additive to alloy elements in the steel-making process.
Depending on the smelting method employed, our Ferromanganese is categorized into two types: Electric Furnace Ferromanganese and Blast Furnace Ferromanganese.
Based on the carbon content, our Ferromanganese is classified into three distinct categories:
Low-Carbon Category: Featuring a carbon content of no more than 0.7%.
Medium Carbon Category: Characterized by a carbon content ranging from greater than 0.7% to 2.0%.
High-Carbon Category: With a carbon content extending from greater than 2.0% up to 8.0%.
