Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, meticulously sourced directly from the heart of manufacturing excellence in China. This guarantees an unparalleled standard of quality and reliability, making it the perfect choice for the most demanding industrial applications. Choose our ferrovanadium for superior performance and consistency.
Ferrovanadium, a vital alloy in the steel industry, is esteemed for its versatility and efficacy. Composed primarily of vanadium and iron, it also contains minor amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is produced with precision, either through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. This essential alloy is extensively employed as a critical additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, and in crafting long-lasting permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is expertly tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron as the complement. FeV alloys are categorized into three main types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each type plays an essential role as an additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys, also known as 'VQ' VAl, are indispensable in the production of titanium alloys.
