The deoxidation products, mnsio3 and mn2sio4, melt at 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC, offering benefits like a low melting point, larger particle size, easy flotation, and superior deoxidation. Compared to separate deoxidation, the alloy reduces burning loss rates to an impressive 29%. Produced by reducing manganese ore and silicon dioxide with carbon in a submerged arc furnace, this alloy exemplifies efficiency and innovation.
