Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully sourced from the very core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability for all your industrial needs.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy widely utilized in the steel industry. This formidable blend of vanadium and iron includes trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is adeptly crafted through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. This outstanding alloy is vital as an additive in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steel, alloy cast iron, and in the creation of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to suit specific alloy formulations and production needs. Typically, it ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, indispensable for smelting both alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys play a key role in titanium alloy production, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl.
