Calcium Silicon Alloys serve as pivotal deoxidizers and desulfurizers in manufacturing high-grade steel. Both Calcium and Silicon exhibit a strong chemical affinity for oxygen, with Calcium additionally showing a robust affinity for sulfur and nitrogen. Remarkably, the steel industry consumes about 90% of global CaSi, underscoring its critical role in steel production.
