Calcium Silicon Alloys serve as superior deoxidizers and desulfurizers in high-grade steel manufacturing. Both Calcium and Silicon exhibit a robust chemical affinity for oxygen, with Calcium additionally showing strong affinities for sulfur and nitrogen. The steel industry utilizes about 90% of the global CaSi consumption, highlighting its critical importance.
