Introducing our exquisite ferrovanadium, sourced with precision directly from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence. This ensures a level of quality and reliability that remains unmatched, promising a steadfast performance to meet your highest expectations.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial and highly sought-after ferroalloy extensively used within the steel industry. It comprises a dynamic mixture of vanadium and iron, with trace impurities like sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This alloy is skillfully produced through either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. Renowned for its versatility, this exceptional alloy is indispensable as an element additive in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steels and cast irons, as well as in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content within ferrovanadium is meticulously calibrated to align with specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically ranging from 30% to 80%, this content is complemented by iron. FeV alloys are distinctively classified into three types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all essential for smelting alloy and low-alloy steels. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys play a pivotal role in titanium alloy production, widely known as 'VQ' VAl.
