Introducing the epitome of manufacturing excellence: our Premium Ferro Vanadium Alloy, sourced directly from the core of industry greatness. This ensures a level of quality and reliability that is second to none, making it the ideal choice for the most demanding industrial applications where excellence is non-negotiable.
Ferrovanadium, a vital alloy in the steel industry, is revered for its unmatched versatility and effectiveness. Predominantly composed of vanadium and iron, it also features trace elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. The production of FeV is a meticulous process involving the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction, ensuring an alloy that is indispensable in crafting vanadium-enriched steel, cast iron, and resilient permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to suit specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requisites, generally ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each serving as a crucial additive in smelting both alloy and low-alloy steels. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are essential in the production of high-performance titanium alloys.
