Introducing our Steel Making Material: the exceptional Black Silicon Carbide SIC98 SiC Lump, crafted to meet the rigorous demands of the steel industry. Renowned for its pure composition and high performance, this product stands out in enhancing your production process with unparalleled efficiency and quality.
Product Description
Silicon carbide is a powerhouse material known for its stable chemical properties, outstanding thermal conductivity, minimal thermal expansion, and superb wear resistance. Beyond its famed use as an abrasive, silicon carbide shines in numerous applications. When silicon carbide powder is applied to water turbine impellers or cylinders, it dramatically boosts wear resistance and can extend service life by up to two times. As a refractory material, it possesses remarkable heat shock resistance, compact size, lightweight build, incredible strength, and energy efficiency. Lower-grade silicon carbide, with about 85% SiC, is a superior deoxidizer, accelerating steelmaking and allowing precise chemical composition control, thereby elevating steel quality. Additionally, silicon carbide is instrumental in manufacturing robust silicon carbide rods for electric heating elements.
