Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, originating from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence, guaranteeing an unmatched quality and reliability standard. This superb alloy is meticulously crafted to meet the highest expectations, making it the perfect choice for even the most challenging and rigorous industrial applications.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) stands as a cornerstone in the steel industry, renowned for its remarkable versatility and unparalleled efficacy. This indispensable alloy predominantly consists of vanadium and iron, with trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Our FeV is expertly crafted through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. This essential alloy is widely utilized as a vital additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in the creation of robust permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to suit specific alloy formulations and diverse manufacturing needs, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the balance. FeV alloys are expertly classified into three main types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each type plays an integral role as a crucial additive in the smelting processes of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are essential in the production of titanium alloys.
