Widely recognized for its extensive application and high output, this ferroalloy is second only to electric furnace ferroalloy products. The strong affinity of manganese and silicon within this alloy for oxygen makes it an invaluable asset in steelmaking. In particular, the deoxidation products, MnSiO3 and Mn2SiO4, boast melting points of 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC respectively, offering a low melting point, substantial particle size, and outstanding deoxidation capabilities. With a remarkably reduced burning loss rate of only 29% compared to manganese or silicon alone, our alloy ensures efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Produced through the reduction of manganese ore and silicon dioxide with carbon in a submerged arc furnace, our silicon manganese alloy exemplifies cutting-edge metallurgy.
