Customized FeCr Ferrochromium - Premium Low Carbon Ferro Chrome. Elevate your production with our highly specialized alloy, designed for superior performance and quality.
The steel industry stands as the predominant consumer of Ferro Chrome, with stainless steel manufacturing, particularly those containing 10-20% chromium, being the largest segment. Our product is integral to producing durable and high-quality stainless steel.
Ferro-Chrome with a chromium content below 56%, known as 'charge chrome,' is produced from lower-grade chrome ore. Conversely, High Carbon Ferro-Chrome, derived from higher-grade ore, is preferred for specialized engineering applications due to its superior Cr to Fe ratio and minimal impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, and titanium.
Low-Carbon Ferro-Chrome is pivotal during steel production to fine-tune chromium levels without introducing unwanted carbon or trace element fluctuations. Furthermore, it serves as a cost-effective alternative to metallic chrome in super alloys and other specialized melting applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
